After lunch I headed out to Mitsuwa to pick up some udon and ramen at Lisa's request. She headed off to her office with Claire most likely to catch up on notes. That left me alone for the afternoon actually and I did what I usually do. Work. Do some steps. Work. Do some steps. By the time I looked up it was already almost 4:30 PM and the sun was starting to go down. I had actually gotten 12,000+ steps already too. All that was left was to pick up Johnnie from school. I forgot myself for a second and pinged Lisa at 5:30 since mom and son hadn't gotten home yet. Yes I knew she was picking up Johnnie but my own anxiety kicked in and I need to turn it off. Lisa's in charge and she knows what she's doing. Tonight they got home around 6-ish. She still managed to pick him up on time. It's just that I don't like it when Johnnie is the last kid to be picked up. i pick him up at 5 every day. You know me and routine right? Johnnie had ramen for dinner (see the pic above) while I had my beef stew from last night. And Lisa made her own vegetarian dinner. She mentioned she had a late game tonight and she ok'd Johnnie to watch. On a Monday night when he's sleeping at my house that would be a NO. But tonight, she said it was ok for him to watch the first half and then he would go home with me so I could get him to bed. I still was pretty adamant that he be in bed by 9 PM. It's a school night after all. And so it was that we went to the Santa Monica Airport to watch Lisa's soccer game. This doesn't have the emotional investment I used to have. Back in the day I almost felt like I was part of the team. Tonight, I'm just here to take Johnnie home at halftime. Which is exactly what I did. And I got him showered and ready for bed and IN BED by 9 PM. He mentioned something about sleeping in mommy's bed tonight. That was ok, but I chose to ignore it and put him to sleep in his own bed. He was asleep inside of 5 minutes. Certainly well before Lisa got home. She came home pissed because she only got to play for 17 minutes tonight. I guess Claudia played all of the 2nd half taking Lisa's minutes and she did not like it one bit. I told her this was actually her team and if she was pissed, she should address it however way she saw fit. Sitting on it though and not saying anything and complaining privately won't get it done. I think she texted one of her teammates and hopefully that helped blow off steam for her. And so that was that. A full Monday at Lisa's house. We didn't tear each other's head off. It turned out ok LOL LOL LOL.

A Different Monday Routine
To say that today's Monday routine is different is an understatement to say the least. All I was hoping for was a good night's sleep and I did get that last night. And today I got a glimpse of what Monday morning looks like with Johnnie school drop-off with Lisa. I will preface everything by saying that there is no right or wrong, at least in terms of Johnnie's routines. There's just Lisa's way of doing things and my way of doing things and they are almost always hugely different. I'm of the mindset that we're keeping her routines for today and then starting tomorrow, we're doing my routines even though I am well aware that i am in Lisa's house and so when push comes to shove, her rules take precedence. And I am perfectly ok with that. So what does all that mean this morning? It meant that we all had to sit for breakfast and Johnnie ate sourdough toast (2 slices) and some OJ. I worry of course that THAT is not nearly enough for him and that he will be hungry by mid-day. Earlier than that even. But hey, it's his mom's turn so she made lunch for him and he will have to eat what is there. And I'm thinking he will probably need a huge dinner as well. And that is still ok. So Lisa does have the day off today but she has physical therapy to do at 9 AM and then she is back before lunchtime. For me, Monday routine is catching up on emails and gearing up for a 15,000+ steps day. Which means I have to have 5000+ steps done before 10:30 AM. I told Lisa about this routine and she encouraged me to take the dog with me for my morning walk. That is do-able of course. And so we would find ourselves dropping Johnnie off by 8:07. Still on time mind you but cutting it way to close for comfort as far as I was concerned. I LIKE to be early. As in there by the time the gate opened. Again, no right way or wrong way. Just Arnel's way and Lisa's way. And Lisa's way was to park 2 blocks up the street and walk to the gate. And either way we were back to Lisa's house by 8:15 AM and I was off on my walk by 8:30. I did take Claire with me and I did manage to finish 5000+ steps and almost 50 active minutes already by the time we got back in the house at 10 AM. Lisa being out of there, I took advantage by taking a shower in her bedroom bath. And toweled up every drop of wetness I could find LOL. And then I got to work. It's UDS week of course and I managed to get started with OSHPD reports for the dental vans too. Lisa walked in at 11 AM as expected and made me a cup of Earl Grey tea. THAT was nice. I worked on my computer, she played the piano the rest of the morning. All good.

First Golf Sunday in February
It's golf Sunday and despite me sleeping over at Lisa's guest room and despite Johnnie sleeping in my bed last night, I'm up at 7 AM getting ready to head out to Roosevelt golf course. Johnnie was already wide awake by this time but I told him he should go crawl under mommy's covers and that daddy was heading out for most of the day. I was headed out by 7:30 before I realized that the tee time was not until 9 AM. And so I stopped by my apartment and made myself breakfast. A ham and egg bagel sandwich and Earl Grey hot tea. And I still had plenty of time to get to Roosevelt. In the meantime I noticed that at least they had started on the work in my unit. They took out all the wood moldings in the bathroom. What's next I'm not sure but at least they had gotten started. And so with that I headed out to the golf course and decided that I was going to have a good game today. I needed it in order to wipe the stench of the putrid game I had last week! I mean I was hitting the ball into the street for crying out loud! Right out of the gate, my first tee shot travelled straight down the middle over 200 yards and I KNEW I was already back on my game. I barely missed my par putt on that hole but at least I got an easy bogey. I blasted the tee shot 200+ yards down the middle on Hole 2 as well. And although I talked myself into a bad hole, I knew I was going to do much better today than last week. All in all I ended up getting pars on Hole 6, the funnel zone hole which was not at all an easy one, and on the very last Hole 9, where my first shot was already pin level but not quite on the green. But I also had near miss pars on Hole 1, Hole 3, and Hole 8. Really only on Hole 2 and Hole 7 did i just had near blow-up holes. So all in all I played pretty well. I didn't pay attention to how Scott played but I didn't think he had more than a par himself. And so it was that I had a pretty good game on a pretty nice day that ended up being warmer than expected. For lunch I decided to to back to the apartment and eat up whatever I had left in the fridge. That would be the bolognese from Thursday. And then I focused on stuff I would do Sunday night usually. Caught up on my journal, did my accounting, even uploaded a bunch of stuff for taxes so I could finish that up next week. By the time I headed back to Lisa's house it was already 4 PM...
So normally on a Sunday afternoon/evening I'd be taking a nap, I'd be binge watching something, and maybe watch sports if there was any team playing I was interested in. I prepared myself not to have to do anything this evening in case I had to hang out with LIsa and Johnnie. No problem with steps, I was already at 10,000+ and more than 140 active minutes by the time I headed to Lisa's and I had already met my week's goals. I noticed that the trash bins were out which meant that mom and son were out and wouldn't be back until later on this evening. I took the opportunity to enjoy the nice sunset on Maplewood and Palms, something I should have done more when I lived here. That was so stop and appreciate. AND since I shopped for beef stew ingredients, I made myself some beef stew in fact. I had enough for at least 3 servings. Which should tide me over should I find myself in a situation where I'm having to eat Lisa's bland food choices. I'm going to be much better prepared for the next week in terms of food that I can promise you. And so the beef stew actually turned out pretty good. And then I ended up binge watching anyway. On Lisa's TV. The thing hardly ever gets used. And so I watched 7 episodes of the new Jack Reacher series on Amazon Prime. By the time mom and son made it home it was nearly 8:30 PM. And Johnnie had fallen asleep in the back seat of his mom's truck. I guess they do this often. I apologized for having the TV on but surprisingly, Lisa actually let me keep on watching. And she herself went to bed early. So all in all an uneventful Sunday evening. A little different, but really more of the same, just not in my apartment. And that's ok. At least I can enjoy the fact that I was back to being myself on the golf course. That's ALWAYS a good thing...

Saturday Lisa Workday and Dinner with Yadira
So today is a Lisa workday and Johnnie is in my room by 7 PM making sure I was awake. Apparently a Lisa ritual is for guests to have breakfast with them. I didn't mind that actually. I woke up this morning earlier than when Johnnie came in and I was remarking how it felt like I was at a hotel. See the clothes setup in the closet. Is that any different than the last time I slept at a hotel <Caesar's Palace Las Vegas in October>? I should appreciate how neat Lisa keeps her house actually. It takes a lot of energy to make it that way. Anyway I had Earl Grey tea while Johnnie ate a couple of slices of buttered sourdough toast for his breakfast and Lisa had her usual. I guess the big thing was that we all get to sit together. Hey, if it's a Lisa rule I will comply. I promised I would didn't I? As soon as she took off though, I made myself a couple of scrambled eggs for my breakfast. I was just more comfortable doing all that without Lisa around. It's how uncomfortable she makes me feel that there is something I'm not doing just so and honestly it's always been like that for me about her. Probably a big reason why we needed to divorce. And then I put on the TV for Johnnie so he could be occupied while I took a shower in Lisa's bathroom. This is the bathroom I designed after all. And I hadn't showered here in a few years. I remember I loved just sitting here and feeling the luxury of water just gushing down my body. And I did it again today and it felt really good. I had to wipe off every drop afterwards but hey I thought that was a small price to pay. Anyway I was transported back to when I lived here and I would spend Saturday mornings doing grocery shopping and then making it to Lisa's office for lunch and doing payroll. How many years did I do that?! Today I took Johnnie shopping, but only to get a replacement hoodie for him since he lost the one he had. We went to Jack-In-the Box first because all of a sudden he was hungry at 10 AM. Surprise surprise. Then we went to the Century City mall. And then to Carter's on Sepulveda. THERE is where we found a hoodie a size smaller than what he had. But it will have to do. While we were there I picked up lunch for me from Ono Hawaii. Hadn't eaten there in a bit too. And it certainly was something different. For Johnnie he was still hungry when we got home and so I made him some spaghetti and Trader Joe's marinara sauce.
So Lisa mentioned this morning that Yadira was coming in for an appointment and they were heading back early so we could have dinner. Works for me. I posted a pic of Johnnie watching TV because that's exactly what he would have been doing had we been at my apartment for the afternoon. Well, except maybe the dog wouldn't be on my couch licking his feet. I actually did try to take a nap too since I would have done just that in my apartment. But I couldn't really get drowsy enough. And by 4 PM, Lisa was already home with Yadira. It had been a really long time since we all saw each other together. I would venture to say it's been a little over a year since we had dinner in Lisa's backyard. Tonight there was no Dexter. I guess no one reached out to him or he simply was not available. I felt like giving him some space so he could deal with his decision whether or not to continue to work for Disney. Anyway we still managed to catch up with Yadira and everything seemed to be ok with her. And we all ended up having dinner at Oops afterwards anyway, dog and all. I picked up the tab since I was actually at Lisa's house using her guest room at her pleasure. We always enjoy eating at Oops, probably the one place we can all guarantee we would like the food. We caught up some more, and then by 7:30 PM Yadira was already headed home. It was good to see her again and we said we'd line up a sports event later on in the year. If I were home you know I'd be catching up on any one of the new Netflix series <Raising Dion> or a new Amazon Prime series <Reacher> or maybe checking in on the Lakers <they would beat the Knicks in OT> or the UCLA basketball team <they would get upset by Arizona State in triple overtime!!!>. Except that Johnnie declared that he wanted to sleep in daddy's bed tonight. What?? How could I refuse? All that meant was that I had to get him ready for bed, brush his teeth, put his pajamas on and then let him go to sleep while continuing to watch whatever I was watching. And THEN by 10 PM I decided I'd go to bed too. Good thing about being here is that there is no binging until 1 AM in the morning for me. I am going to be rested for golf tomorrow for sure!

Made It Through Roadshow Week
It is Friday and it is the last day of Roadshow Town Hall Week. At the Lisa house it is Friday morning drop-off for Johnnie and I get to watch what it is Mom and Johnnie do before heading off to school. Clearly I knew it was going to be far different than what Johnnie and I do. For one, mom and son already showered last night so all Johnnie had to do was put clothes on and have breakfast. That, by itself, is apparently a big production number as Lisa insisted that I have breakfast with them before I headed out myself. I, of course, needed to be at East Third Health Center before 8:30 and since I had to walk about 15 minutes to get there, I wanted to leave by 7:30. Since I was having brunch with my roadshow partners later on, I was not concerned with breakfast. But rather than offend Lisa I just ate a piece of sour dough toast from Johnnie's plate and headed on out before they did. I actually got to East Third by 8:05 AM, and with the walk I was there in plenty of time. Each of these Health Centers have their own personality and I do remember this one engages with me with no problems. And so for the 5th time this week, I do my UDS schpeel, I do my prize giveaway, and I do my phishing reminders and that was THAT. Another week of Roadshow Town Halls under our collective belts. That would be 3 now for us and afterwards, we met at Tamayo's in East LA for brunch. That would turn out to be the PLAY OF THE DAY. Turns out that this restaurant featured the works of renowned Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo. He was known for his large murals and this place doubled as an art gallery as well. Needless to say this was VERY VERY COOL. It was obviously a slight for me to take a picture of just one small section of a large mural and that was me simply being smart-assy, trying to portray what it felt like after a week of Roadshow Town Halls. The food was amazing too. I had grilled salmon and rice and veggies topped with mangoes. It was truly awesome. And so we did our de-brief of the week, agreeing that it was better to keep the roadshow format going and also trying to improve the virtual format as well. And it was almost noon when we left but I felt truly grateful for the culinary experience. By this time it had gotten considerably warmer too and instinct took me back to my apartment to check up on it. No they hadn't even started any work which makes me extremely irritated. But that's ok. I'm covered no matter what.
I had one more work thing to do today, and that was the monthly FRB birthday deal for the month of February. I did it from Lisa's house since I had to check in on Claire. I left her all day of course and she seemed satisfied simply hanging out on Lisa's bed. Hey she's like that in my apartment too except she's happy laying on the beanbag I earmarked for her. As far as the birthday thing, these things have been losing steam since last year and even the bigwigs hardly attend them anymore. This one lasted a half hour and it was led by Emma. I will admit I'm one of those that want these things to go on so we can just see each other again even if it's just online. Yes of course I echo Greg's chats with me afterwards about how these things suck anymore. We still gotta keep doing them though I think. Someone has to take leadership right? And so this one was done by 2:30 PM. I had plenty of time to watch some Netflix on Lisa's TV for the afternoon. AND I decided to go to Trader Joe's too to pick up some food for me and stock it Lisa's fridge. No way I'm going to let myself starve in this house if I'm staying here more than a couple of hours. And so it was that I went to Trader Joe's and decided to go pick up Johnnie a half hour earlier than usual since I was already on this side of Centinela. Why bother wasting time dealing with traffic? I figured I'd pick him up and we'd go to Panda Express in Marina del Rey and eat dinner there. By the time we did it was past 5 PM already anyway. We sure as heck weren't going to wait for Lisa to eat dinner with tonight. And even if we did at least this way we KNOW Johnnie and I are both fed no matter what Lisa decides to do. And tonight that was to stay at her office until almost 8:45 PM. That's ok though, all that did was give Johnnie plenty of time to watch Wild Kratts, Nature Cat and even play on his computer for a little bit. Heck I was almost done brushing and flossing him when she walked through the door in fact. And that only earned me a little lecture on how Johnnie should get flossed first BEFORE brushing. Ok Ok. Whatever you say Lisa. Which I'm sure will be the theme for however long I stay here. It's ok. I can put up with it for up to a week LOL LOL. And so mom took over and I retired to my bed, watched some more shows on my iPad. This is how this works. And that is perfectly fine with me.

Staying at Lisa's
So before I dropped Johnnie off at school this morning, I packed out my clothes from my closet and dumped them all on the bed. I agreed to have the closet and bathroom ready to get whatever work needed to get done and since I'm off to Westlake North right after dropping Johnnie off, I was just hoping the workers would get started without incident. That means Claire behaving herself and not barking her ass off at whoever comes in through the door. I had it in my mind that I was going to get home as soon as I could right after the Town Hall and deposit her right back to Lisa. Just look at the pic of my bed. Amazing isn't it? I could tell I was a bit off this morning from all this activity. I know this because even though I was in the vicinity of Westlake North in plenty of time, I took the wrong turn on 3rd and I couldn't find a parking spot except on 6th, 3 blocks away. And so I high-tailed it to the Health Center and boy did I ever pad up my ACTIVE MINUTES log with that short trek. More like a run really. I had my heart rate up and I had to take a minute just to settle myself down. As far as the Town Hall itself, there were a couple of people that got into the face of leadership. As in they were vocal about not getting any support, not getting what was ordered, vocal about their own dissatisfaction. Now I know as a manager it's a good thing to let your staff vent every once in a while. But there is also a thin line between venting and a descent into a full-on anger fest, which this meeting threatened to devolve into once a couple of people said their piece. Yes everyone is dissatisfied, yes everyone is doing a little bit more. Heck, my own EHR Support team got pulled in to help the Call Center yesterday even. Everyone is stretched. But that is when we're supposed to pull together as a TEAM, not worry that something isn't fair. Heck this whole pandemic isn't fair. Anyway, I didn't feel like their issues were addressed adequately and we're sure to hear about his yet again. It was a stark difference to yesterday's Town Hall at Echo Park. And I think it's a Leadership thing.
Anyway I got my butt home right after the meeting just as I intended and they hadn't been to my apartment just yet. So I took Claire and delivered her back to Lisa. She was home because it was her day off. She was happy to have the dog the rest of the day. This being a Thursday I had my one-on-one with Dennis, then the team meeting with the EHR Support Staff, then I made myself some spaghetti bolognese for lunch. AND I was able to lay on the couch and managed to take a nap for a whole hour! It was more than I expected. AND I even got my steps in. As in I was already at 10,000 steps by the time I was heading out to pick up Johnnie. Today, we're going right to Lisa's house from the school. And we made a stop at Mitsuwa to pick up udon for Johnnie, katsu for me, sushi for Lisa. And we were able to have dinner together even. Yep, I was actually spending the night here. Actually the next several nights. That meant I needed to sacrifice what I really want to do and basically kiss Lisa's ass and follow her routines. I'm pretty sure I couldn't do that for more than a week. But for just a week, I can bite my tongue and do things differently. Never mind that it's been 3 1/2 years since I left this house and spent the night here. For sure I have a lot of uncertainty about this, but then again seeing how happy Johnnie was when I told him the news a couple of days ago was enough for me to at least try it. It's going to be a lot of work no question about it. But it's only for a few days. Already over dinner Lisa seemed to want to tell me something she was expecting that I didn't do. I remind myself that of course she has all these rules to keep herself in some semblance of control. It's when I feel like she tries to control me is when I fight her the hardest. I'm going to need to watch that for sure. Tonight we had dinner, I did the dishes then I went back to the apartment to pick up my pajamas that I forgot. By the time I got back, Johnnie was already in the middle of his bath routine, and getting ready to go to bed. It was early even for us. It wasn't even 8:30 yet. But I thought it was a good idea for JOhnnie to go to bed earlier than usual anyway. Lisa was doing her veggie lunch thing, prepping her food for the next day. Anyway mom and son went to bed early and I just played on my computer which is what I would do anyway if I were in my apartment. I fell out of whack there's no question about that. AND I felt like I was at some hotel. I just kept saying to myself, "it's going to be ok." "It's going to be ok."

A Day Out of the Ordinary
So with yesterday's news about me needing to vacate my apartment for about a week, I'm a little out of balance this morning. I had this dream that I was trying to get someone to kill me, and they had to use a knife to do it. But when they stuck the knife in my back, it wasn't in nearly deep enough to even cause any bleeding. Like it only hurt me a little. Is a part of me needing to die? But it's difficult to kill. Hmmm. More on that later I guess. Today I'm headed to Echo Park Health Center in the morning and if I leave about the same time as I did yesterday I knew I'd make it there in plenty of time. It's Wednesday too and it's not the ONLY Town Hall I have to do today. I have the QueensCare one to do as well. This time I got to leave at 7:50! A minute better than yesterday! I was already near the Vermont exit by 8:04! The thing though is the street traffic which is far worse than the freeway traffic. How could that be?? Anyway I did get there by 8:25 right as the thing was starting and this morning we were given a treat actually. The Dental Team at Echo Park had a little skit going with a dance and everything to urge other providers to send patients to the Dental Clinic. THAT'S what I'm talking about. THAT'S how it's done. No need to depend on external energy. Echo Park brought its own energy and it was amazing! It wasn't done there either. Their DPI (Dramatic Performance Improvement) presentation was very surgical and I thought it was very very good. Something I would present, with charts and everything. And so today's session gave ME energy. And I needed it for the next TownHall with QueensCare an hour later. And after my turn, which came early in the presentation, I was already able to breathe out knowing I had done my work for the day and we only have 2 left of these Town Halls to do. I gave myself a reward actually, lunch from Ralphs which was the tri-tip plate and green beans and macaroni beef. I mean, for $10 you could do FAR WORSE. And it was pretty good at that. And with that great lunch I followed it up with the latest episode of the Book of Boba Fett. Episode 6. Which was more like an extension of the Mandalorian series actually. And this time, we get to check in on Grogu and his lessons with Luke Skywalker. That snippet alone was worth the entire series. This episode mirrored the Empire Strikes Back especially the training sequences with Luke and Yoda. Only this time it is Luke that is the teacher. I can't say enough how my heart warmed to see this scenes again. So much so it was actually the play of the day. And I needed it too. Because later on, I had a lot more to do. I got another call from the Building Management that I needed to clear my bathroom and my closet by tomorrow morning. Never mind that I still had to drop off Johnnie at school and that I still had to make it to my Westlake North Town Hall by 8:30. That meant I had to do everything tonight. It might sound simple since I don't really have much stuff in the bathroom. My closet, however, was a different story. So much so that after I cleared my shoes, I realized I would have to clear the rest of my clothes tomorrow morning. Because I had to put them on the bed. And so it was that I spent most of the evening packing up the bathroom and whatever I could in the closet. And left the rest for tomorrow. And I was tired after all that. More so emotionally and mentally I think. It's always strange to pack stuff away even if you're just moving them to the next room. I guess I just don't like moving so much. And so it was that this Wednesday is somewhat of a timemarker for me. Such an un-routine kind of day...

Nothing Out of the Ordinary Huh?
First day of February and the nothing out of the ordinary narrative I used to describe the month of January flipped in an instant. That's because I got a call from my building management. Turns out the little fire drill from Saturday was a real fire (we knew that) and that the sprinkler system got triggered (we knew that too) and it caused some water damage. I sort of knew that because of all the water leakage that somehow made it to my apartment unit. And that was the second time in a week! Anyway they told me they needed to re-do the drywall in the bathroom and that it would be inaccessible while they were doing that. And that it would take about a week. Anyway the bottom line was I really can't stay in the apartment can I? Not if I have to access to the bathroom. And OBTW they needed to do some fixing in the closet area as well. My options were to go to a hotel (which they would reimburse), find another place to stay for those days (which they would give me rent credit for), or talk to my insurance company and let them figure out what, if any, benefits I had. I threw out the insurance company option in my head already. Why would I need to call my insurance if it could be settled otherwise? I didn't mind the hotel idea but not with Johnnie and the dog for next week. Sigh. Looks like I would have to see if Lisa would let me stay at her house. Funny, she actually wanted me to hang out LAST Friday for the night. A quick phone call verified that she was ok with the idea of me staying in the guest room for a week. Looks like Johnnie-boy gets his wish, which was for me to hang out at his mom's house. The smile on his face in the picture was BEFORE all this news of course, but that smile got a whole heck of a lot bigger when I told him my plans. I don't know why he's so happy... doesn't he know that we will both have to follow his mommy's rules while I'm there? That means no McDonalds, very limited TV, no videos on the iPad, and who KNOWS what we'll get to eat. But we gotta do what we gotta do. Anyway his smile had more to do with the Lunar New Year lantern he made in school. Pretty cool.
By the way, today was the second day of Roadshow TownHall week and my first while having to drop Johnnie off at school. It was at Eagle Rock this morning, which seemed to be the farthest Health Center from me so I was concerned about getting there on time. But as it turned out, we got to the gate way earlier than usual. And we were the third in line. Which meant that I was off and running and headed to work by 7:51! Traffic was traffic especially around the 110N but nothing out of the ordinary and so I got to Eagle Rock by 8:25. This one was held outside and it was a bit cold. Just like yesterday in Hollywood but not nearly as cold as it was in late December when it was raining a lot. This being one of the smaller Health Centers, there were less people. And the energy was definitely not there. I tried to use my own energy to raise theirs, but nothing doing. I think all Health Centers mirror the manager and this one does not really have one. And so it mirrored it's strongest provider: Dr Rodriguez. And she is about as skeptical as there is about administration. But oh well, this being Tuesday I headed quickly home right after the Town Hall, made it by 10 AM and then basically just chilled the rest of the day. The good thing about Town Hall is that no one can say I didn't put in my work. I just basically cruised the rest of the day until it was time to pick up Jonnnie. And then it was Panda express night. And because I saw so much traffic on Sawtelle on the way up, we went to Westwood instead. WE hadn't done Panda Westwood during a weeknight in a while. Used to be we would do this most Tuesdays before the pandemic. Nothing is different really, not Johnnie's teriyaki chicken, not my green beans and chicken bowl. And home we headed for a routine Tuesday evening. Routine at least until I got the phone call from the Building Management. Now I gotta plan being out of the unit for a little while. And getting stuff out of the way in the bathroom and closet. That means my clothes need to be out of there. What a pain... <sigh> Now I AM wondering what message or lesson the Universe is trying to get me to focus on. Gotta sleep on that one...
